On Sunday, September 13, 2026, TRAM! is back: a cross-border cycling festival connecting music, theater, circus, art, and landscape.

The 24.5 km route starts at 2 PM in Sint-Janskappel and leads through Dranouter and the Heuvelland surroundings towards Ploegsteert. Along the way, various artists stop at unique locations for short concerts and performances. Muziekcentrum Dranouter and ‘Nouter Club are in charge of the musical part of the program.

The program includes Le Son des Ingénieurs, a duo blending traditional music from Central Europe and Scandinavia with electronic beats and synthesizers; Saving Nico, the intimate indie-folk project by Nicolas Anné; and IAMWILL, the indie-folk project of jazz musician Guillaume Vierset. The day ends in Ploegsteert with Cie Balthazar and their comic circus performance Festa Colletta.

You can cycle the route at your own pace, alone, with friends, or with the family. Participation in TRAM! is free. For those who prefer not to cycle back and forth, there is a shuttle bus for visitors and bikes between Ploegsteert and Sint-Janskappel. For this, reservations are required.

TRAM! is a collaboration between Sint-Janskappel, ‘Nouter Club, Centre culturel de Comines-Warneton, and the municipality of Heuvelland, aiming to stimulate cross-border cultural mobility.
